TableTop Farms located in the rolling hills of northwest Missouri on our family’s century farm. We are awoman owned (Lisa), family operated (Andrew, Ellah, and David), seed to table 100% farmer grown operation. We pride ourselves on being Certified Naturally Grown in vegetables. Our passion is to grow the most flavorful, nutrient-dense foods that are safe for you and your family. We do this by not using any harmful herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides. We work with nature to produce the best food possible by encouraging healthy soils with abundant life. We use minimally mined fertilizers, and compost to build a habitat for beneficial earthworms, nematodes and other life in the soil.
Raising a clean source of protein, our vegetable gardens are not the only thing we are passionate about. We also enjoy raising pastured proteins in the same manner. All of our animals are rotated on pasture. Fresh food, keeping their area clean, and giving them a purpose on the farm of fertilization and just doing what they were born to do. Our pigs are born and raised on-farm and in the pasture. By day 5 they are up and about nibbling on grass next to their momma. They are supplemented with organic grain during their “fatting” stage. Our egg laying hens roam the field, cleaning up the bugs. They are also supplemented with organic grain to complete their diet. There is no difference for our meat chickens. Raised on pasture since the time they start getting their true feathers and supplemented on organic grain. Our beef are grass fed and finished. No grain for these cows.
